Rose Velda George of LaTaste, St. Patrick who resided in Queens New York, passed away on Sunday 5th July, 2026 at the age of 85

She was the mother of: McKenny also known as “Kenny”, Gillian, Steven also known as “Steve”, Dedree and Lisa all in the USA, Step-mother of: Hellen and Dale in the USA, Cherryl in the UK and Patsy in Grenada, Grandmother of 11 including: Wendell, Krystal, Deidra, Camille, Alison, Mazimos, Deandre, Oslyn, Facey and Royline, Great Grandmother of 8 Sherma Scott

Sister of: Theresa John also known as “Effin” in the USA, Maureen Bruno in Grenada, Babriel Roberts in Grernada and Allan also known as “Palance” in the USA, Mother in law of: Laurel George, Sister in law of: Shirley and Leeza Roberts, Elmus Bruno, Her care-giver: Kaysianne George

Many other relatives and close friends in the USA and Grenada including: Brenda Simon, Tiny Corutin, the Adolphus family, the Gambino Family, the George, Peters, Francois and Roberts families of River Sallee and Plains, the Frederick family of LaTaste

Funeral service on Tuesday 25th August, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Holy Family Catholic Church, River Sallee, St. Patrick and entombment at the River Sallee Cemetery
